Syncheck™ lets you know with absolute certainty that your audio and video are IN synchronization, or OUT.  Pointed at your screen, Syncheck tells you instantly whether audio or video is ahead or behind and by exactly how much, in fractions of frames to an accuracy of 1/32nd frame (about a millisecond), up to a maximum of 4 frames. Proven simple operation by facilities and system installers worldwide, just use our reference files and the built-in microphone (or line level input), "point and shoot", and the easy-to-read LED display shows you everything.  So inexpensive, there is no longer an excuse for living with (or delivering) sloppy sync.

If you are like us, you have been wondering if your DAW's video images are actually playing in synchronization with your hard-earned audio.  Have you asked yourself "Is lip sync really rubbery like this or is there something else wrong?"  "Am I delivering my sound effects in perfect synchronization to their picture, ready for the mix."  "Is my work REALLY correct?  Do I dare make a change?"  Worse yet, has your client asked you these questions?  For a more complete discussion, read this.

In a modern professional facility there are many possibilities for video and audio signals to get out of step with each other.  Many people try to visually judge with some rigged up method that nearly always relies on their eyes and ears.  Guesswork.  We imagine that more than half of those guesses are wrong, probably many more than half.

If you are interested in a more complete synchronization checkup, please look at Syncheck's companion SynFlash.

Syncheck and SyncheckII are designed and manufactured in the USA by Pharoah Editorial, Inc., a New York audio post production company. We record sound, edit sound, mix, warp, distort, flip, and fix sound. As audio and video manipulation becomes more affordable and widespread, we find ourselves fixing poor sync choices made on randomly configured systems. Syncheck is built by and for post production professionals to help solve a growing problem in our industry. Syncheck, SyncheckII, and SynFlash are trademarks of Pharoah Editorial, Inc.
