Richard Fairbanks is a re-recording mixer and sound team supervisor working primarily for long form television and film productions. His extensive list of mixing credits include documentaries, musicals, dramatic and comic narratives, corporate sales pieces, and award winning radio plays. Although he is now known for re-recording work he has spent many years recording and mixing live orchestras and chorals, classical and jazz ensembles, dance records, big bands, rock to polka bands, live and live-to-tape with audience for network television, studio productions, and live radio plays. He is proficient with sound, video, and broadcast technical issues and has current experience with equipment design and manufacture. Mr. Fairbanks is a classically trained oboist who holds a Bachelor of Music Education from West Texas State University. He is a composer of theme and underscore music for several corporate and network productions.
